This is just to say how much my wife and I enjoyed our recent hires.

The Alvis, Bentley and Rolls-Royce were all extremely well presented and the service first class, they drove so well too. This was the first time I have ever found that my own modern car felt so heavy when I returned to it from driving classic cars.

I shall be returning to drive the Jaguar XK150S and the Mercedes Benz 280SL in the not too distant future.

Probably due to my "advanced age" (it was my 40th birthday after all) I really preferred the E type. Gorgeous to look at - but certainly also to drive: every second I was driving it I had that "Yesssss" type of smile on my face (or so my wife tells me). For one or other reason I could not really adjust to the MK II - a great looking car, but not "snappy" enough for my taste. Nevertheless I am quite happy to have been able to experience those 2 icons of the automobile industry.

First of all apologies for not writing sooner, but I would like you to know how much we enjoyed hiring the Autin Healey 3000 and also our stay at the Royal Wells Inn.

My husband, Nigel, was absolutely delighted (and also a little bit scared because he was driving someone else's car) at the chance to drive such a wonderful classic car. He has always admired the 3000 (a true English sports car) and it has always been his ambition to drive one. As he had reached the grand old age of 60 I thought it was about time he fulfilled that ambition!

Everything about the Healey rental, from the reservation to the ride back to Gatwick, was delightful.

Over the five days, the car was a pleasure to drive in all types of situations, on A and B roads, on motorways, in dry weather, and even in wet weather and slow traffic. Your oral instructions and the guide book were helpful in understanding how the car worked. (Be sure to remind people to remember that first gear is unsynchronized and also to turn off the overdrive before downshifting. And, although I had enough room for my one bag, it might not hurt to emphasize that any luggage should be small and soft-sided.)

You have a beautiful fleet and you are performing a wonderful service in making your cars available not just to look at but actually to drive. I hope I succeeded in driving the car as lovingly as you have maintained it.

Just a quick line to thank you very much for helping me organise the weekend. The hotel was great and the car well words can't do it justice. It was a weekend that was special and will be remembered always,I only hope that we will be able to do it again in the future.

I thought I should drop you a short note to let you know that we were very pleased with the classic car touring weekend that we booked. When I contacted you before Christmas with the vague "I want to book the Austin Healey but i'm not sure when and for how long..." you were great in being so obliging.

When we booked the Easter weekend and stayed at the Royal Wells Inn in Tunbridge Wells everything went exactly to plan with the car turning up beautifully turned out and on time. The paperwork was over really quickly and we were off driving in no time at all. The car drove perfectly and we put on quite a few miles enjoying the A and B roads up and down the Sussex coast.

The service that you provide is wonderful and the cars you have are really beautiful. It was great just getting to see the Jaguar E type which you drove across when you picked the Austin Healey up.

I was expecting hassle but there was none, the efficiency of you and your staff was outstanding. I thoroughly recommend Classic Touring to anyone with an interest in driving classic cars.

Thank you for the invoice and the calendar, received today. Barbara and I enjoyed our weekend in East Sussex and it was made doubly pleasurable because of the use of your wonderful Mercedes. She is already planning future weekends but I can't get away for at least a couple of months. But no doubt I shall be in touch.

As you will be aware, I hired the Jaguar MK II to take on a weekend in the Cotswolds. It was a special weekend for both myself and my wife and I have to say made all the better for the car. It was beautifully turned out when we picked it up and everything was ready and prepared. We both appreciate the courtesy we received and the tour of your other vehicles. It is always fun to meet a fellow enthusiast and I am extremely envious of your excellent collection.

Kate and I just wanted to say a very big thank you. The wedding was fantastic and the car was such a focus for everyone. We had the best time.

The XK was just stunning. I wanted to say thank you to yourself and the all guys for doing everything you did to make the car ready for the day.

I can't imagine a better end to the wedding as we drove of into the star filled night, the roof down and the exhaust booming. we'll never forget it.
